Word of the day: Anarchy

Anarchy is a state of no government.

Under anarchy, you are free to do and say and think what you will. But you are not free to infringe upon the rights of others to do, say, and think what they will, and you are not free to take away others’ rights.

Truly communist societies are anarchist. That is why there are no communist governments in existence, as the term communist government is an oxymoron and any government that claims to be communist cannot be trusted. Communist parties do exist, but they are not the only parties that can run a socialist government. Others, such as democratic socialist parties can as well.

Classless society is a concept that is preloaded with anarchy.

Word of the day: Democracy

A democracy is a style of government or governance that arises out of a social contract that is provided by the consent of the governed.

It is said that democracy’s mother city is Athens, where Solon first created the world’s earliest democratic societies.

A famous democracy is the United States of America. Another is Classical Greece, as well as Republican Rome.

Political theorists tend to believe that democracy is the ultimate form of government, before people choose anarchy, and all governments currently existing will eventually become democracies.

In the Americas, Hiawatha originally set down a system parallel to democracy. It was not a full democracy, however, but the comparison is strikingly similar.

FreeDocs word of the day: Chaos

Chaos is the state of entropy, meaning no order exists. There are theories to the nature of order, and clever observers have discovered that within chaos, there is weird symmetry. This, however, is beyond the dictates and goals of this post; we’re just here to discuss words. So for the record: Chaos == disorder.

Now, if you want to understand more about chaos, there’s plenty of websites out there that discuss this subject. You just have to avoid the newspapers and the know-it-alls who proclaim one and only one definition of Chaos and put down all others as “clearly inferior”.

Of course, such people will always exist, and it is now the imperative (or one of the minor imperatives) of FreeDocs Lit to run these evildoers out of business by getting them to show their true colors.
